Harvey took Jack Lira with him when he moved to Henry Street in 1978 after a huge rent increase on his Castro Street store and his residence above it. Shortly after the move, it became obvious to Harvey that he had to break off his relationship with Jack because Jack was becoming a liability to his job as San Francisco Supervisor.
