C A S T R O    S C E N E    # 1 6 " J E S U S   C H R I S T   S A T A N " The man with the tall umbrella called himself Jesus Christ Satan. He was talking to my lover, Frank. JC was one of those eccentric characters that San Francisco is famous for. He was seen at almost all the parades, street fairs, and other gay gatherings. He always was barefoot, dressed in a long robe and a hat, had his little dog under one arm and carried a tambourine. This was the Castro Street Fair, I believe it was 1978.
