Super Dykes at Gay Pride Parade © 1976 J. Pritikin Judgment call..I only knew these love birds for the amount of time to take this picture. I got the feeling this couple were not only enjoying the 1976 Gay Day Parade but life as well! It was their "Statement" at a time the word "Dyke" was considered a negative in most quarters, just as "Queer" was then,too. Today, it's a different story... Sticks and stones may still hurt me but I'm getting use to the new meanings to old words.
